UKANDOIT GLOBAL (“Organizer”) is organizing the UKANDOIT GLOBAL Challenge, an ongoing initiative. All participants in said challenge will be bound by and abide by the UKANDOIT GLOBAL Challenge Official Rules & Agreement (the “Rules”). The Rules are as follows:

  1. Challenge Description: The UKANDOIT GLOBAL Challenge welcomes students from 8th to 12th grade and high school graduates to carry out projects or initiatives promoting the United Nations’ Sustainability Goals. Entrants are required to submit a written description of the challenge, the initiative or project, and its alignment with the UN Sustainability Goals (500 and up to 1000 words), along with pictures or an accompanying film, based on the instructions for each Challenge.

  1. Timing: The UKANDOIT GLOBAL Challenge operates continuously, and participants can submit entries at any time. While the challenge officially began on January 23rd, 2024, there is no fixed end date. Entrants are responsible for determining the appropriate beginning and ending times in their respective time zones.

  1. Eligibility: To be eligible for the Challenge, entrants must, at the beginning of the Challenge Period, meet the following criteria: (i) be a legal resident of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia; and (ii) be 8th to 12th-grade students or high school graduates from a US accredited school. Each participant can submit only one entry for each Challenge. For entrants under the age of 18, it is implicit that their parents or legal guardians have agreed to these terms by permitting the minor's participation in the challenge.

  1. How to Submit: To submit an entry, make your submission at the following website during the Challenge Period: www.UKANDOITGLOBAL.com. Entering the Challenge and making submissions is cost-free, and participants will earn community service hours. Entrants must follow the Rules and instructions provided at www.UKANDOITGLOBAL.com.

  1. Acceptance: Participation in the Challenge is conditioned on the full and unconditional acceptance of the Rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Challenge. By entering the Challenge, by participating in the Challenge, or by making a submission into the Challenge, each entrant acknowledges that they have read and accepted the Rules and will abide by them. If an entrant participating in the Challenge is a minor under the age of 18, it is tacitly understood that their parents or legal guardians have already agreed to these terms by allowing the minor to participate in the Challenge. The parent or legal guardian of the minor entrant, by virtue of the minor's participation, is considered to have read, accepted, and consented to the Rules governing the Challenge. If a minor entrant's parent or legal guardian has not agreed to these terms, the minor entrant will be disqualified from the Challenge.

  1. Submission Requirements: Ineligible submissions include those that are unresponsive or, in whole or in part, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, hateful, embarrassing to another person or entity, deceptive, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, tortious, contains racial slurs, or contains explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of sexual acts, or is not within the spirit of the Challenge, as determined by the Sponsor Organizer in its sole discretion.

  1. Representations and Warranties: By entering the Challenge, entrants represent and warrant that their entries are their own original work. Each participant agrees not to submit any entry that infringes any third-party rights.

  1. Image Authorization, Release & Intellectual Property Rights: Entrants retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in each submitted challenge subject to the Rules. However, by entering the Challenge, each entrant grants the Sponsor Organizer and its affiliates certain rights, including editing, modifying, and using the submitted entry for various purposes.

  1. Personal Information and Privacy Policies: All personal information submitted in the Challenge will be subject to UKANDOIT GLOBAL’s privacy policy, available at: www.UKANDOITGLOBAL.com/privacy-policy.

  1. General Conditions: The Sponsor Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Challenge if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity or proper functioning of the Challenge. The Sponsor Organizer also reserves the right to disqualify any individual found tampering with the operation of the Challenge.

  1. Limitations of Liability: Entrants agree to release the Sponsor Organizer and its Released Entities from all liability arising from various situations, including incorrect information, technical failures, and injuries arising from participation.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: All entrants and participants agree that any dispute resulting from or arising out of the Rules, or the Challenge shall be governed under the laws of Florida. The Circuit Court of Miami-Dade County, Florida, maintains exclusive jurisdiction.

  1. Interpretation: The language of all parts of the Rules shall be construed as a whole, according to its fair meaning. If any portion or provision of the Rules is legally determined to be unenforceable, the remainder of the Rules shall remain valid and enforceable.

  1. Headings: The headings of the provisions herein are intended for convenient reference only.

  1. Excuse of Obligations: Sponsor Organizer shall be excused from their obligations and under no liability for failure to perform in certain circumstances beyond their control.

  1. Attorneys’ Fees: In connection with any litigation arising out of or related to the Rules or the Challenge, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover all costs incurred, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
